About Me

Kelly Morse, CFNC

How Did I Get Here?

You might say I came back to my roots. Growing up, a great day might involve outdoor adventures like tadpoles and forts followed by a snack of fresh buttery snap beans and homemade beef jerky. Ahhh, those were the days!

Though I enjoyed fresh food from gardens, pastures and oceans, when the new "convenience" (a.k.a. processed) foods arrived on the market, these grab and go foods increasingly became the majority of my diet, along with a hearty dose of stress and low sleep. You may know that life.

When lab tests exposed very high cholesterol in my mid-20's, internal alarms starting going off! My grandmother and my mom had both suffered poor health and early death, ravaged by the effects of toxic exposures, processed food, and a lifestyle that generally undermined health. I realized some of the same factors had been creeping into my life.

I wanted a different path, but it didn't happen overnight.

Gradual is Sustainable

I love to eat and I didn't want to miss out on good food! So, leaning into the memories of fresh and delicious foods in my past, I started a slow change in my life and saw positive results. I was gradually adopting better habits, including reading food labels and getting curious about the impact of nutrition and lifestyle. This felt doable and good, not like deprivation. I was energized.

I sought out health advocates who would help me work with my body and its amazing capabilities to heal. With help, I was making lasting changes.

Always preferring to look at the roots of good health, my journey led to more curiousity and further understanding of the value of nutrient-dense eating and an intentional lifestyle. Along the way, I was also able to help others resolve frustrations with gut issues or low energy by addressing the terrain inside the body.

Wanting to share sustainable ways to address underlying imbalances and help others thrive, I hit the books.

Filling the Gaps in our Healthcare System.

After witnessing the power of functional medicine working in the holistic health industry, I felt a call to stand in the gap where therapeutic partnerships are missing. While doctors encourage "healthy habits", they are not often available or equipped to support you in the lifestyle modifications that will make a difference for you, personally.

We are all unique. All things matter."

As a certified Functional Nutrition Counselor with G.E.M.M. training, I don't practice medicine. I use tools and specific training to look outside of symptoms or family conditions to help you determine "how did we get here?" As your personal consultant, I help you dive in to see the connections and prioritize doable lifestyle modifications that matter for you, not cookie-cutter trends or fads. We can chart a path to renewed energy, better sleep or focus and beyond.

I want to hear your story, your health journey, and meet you where you are on a path to authentic health.
